It is with much pleasure that we mark the 30th Anniversary of the Texas Floral Endowment. The year of 2021 was a very prominent milestone for the endowment and we are so happy to be celebrating that once again. Though 2021 was full of challenges, we look forward to 2022 and the exciting opportunities it will bring.
In the short 30 years the Texas Floral Endowment has been established it has played a positive role in the development of the floral industry in Texas. The wisdom and vision put forth by the initial members of the TFE built a foundation to foster and support many aspects of education as well as look at the challenges in cultivating the next generation. Through it all we have been so blessed to have an overwhelming friend and partner in TSFA. In fact, much of the Endowment's success has been built on just that, partnerships. We want to thank those partners as well as our grantees, board members, and mostly all of you that have contributed to our growth and success over the last 30 years.
One of Texas Floral Endowments greatest honors was to recently be awarded $250,000 from the Herman Meinders Foundation to set the path for the high school student floral education. What an unbelievable gift he has presented to TFE. Through his generosity, the gift he has trusted us with cultivate the next generation for many years in this industry he loves.
As we welcome 2022, the Texas Floral Endowment will official kick off its "$30 for 30, Together we Can" campaign. We want to build on what has been established through the many helping hands along our journey. Your donation of $30 will help the TFE endow scholarships and programs for the floral industry and consumers. Please consider becoming a member of the Texas Floral Endowment's partners in building tomorrow, today.
