Rey has been in the floral industry since 1985 and a TSFA member since 1998.
He has placed in the top five in the Texas Cup competition five times.
Rey is an avid volunteer for a number of organizations:
President of Court Appointes Special Advocates for Children (CASA) of South Texas
Membership Director of the Pleasanton Lions Club.
Artisitic Director for Studio Players, INC, not for profit chidlrens educational theatre group
Rey also hosts an annual fresh floral charity fundraiser benefiting five local charities in the Atascosa Area
